<EFAX>

I covered Fri for a nice healthy loss. Stock is too strong and wants to go higher yet. I too played the CNBC bit. I broke one of my rules of shorting- if the stock is suppose to go down and it doesn't after two days, get out! Thought I'd hang on a bit longer and see what happens. Big mistake. Also, stocks that have had fast runs, and then a fast drop, tend to get squeezed again. I believe Briefing.com wrote a piece on this as well.

As for the viability of the co, profits don't matter, so shorting an inet on that reason alone is like playing Russian roulette.

Good luck

x

I found myself in the same club. EFAX was my "deer, frozen in the headlights" stock. Had exactly the same thoughts as you, spent the whole week looking for some relief point to get out. Never happened. Got out friday with a painful loss.

F,

Me too, for a loss, but you gotta admit it when you are wrong and move on.
For me it does not hurt as bad since I break even with respect to EFAX, having taken 50% profit from the previous run.

On clearstation, they are talking about a rumor that EFAX will team up with AOL and MCI/WorldCom (I could be wrong about the telco) to integrate their service with AOL and the telco.

I have boxed my position, but may have to flatten it if the stock runs again.
