In fairness to this dude antoine... I think one thing he always tries to say is that everyone's situation is different and deeply personal. What a 20 year old should do is different from a risk-averse 60 year old should do that has already made it...and as many different variations as there are people. what antoine is trying to say about internuts etc. is that antoine isn't willing to take those risks. to pay 100 times sales for a company that has never made a profit...that kind of thing. Mr. Market could slice that thing to bits whenever it suited. That wouldn't be the same as advice for everyone in every situation. I do sort of think valuations in such stocks are silly and dangerous. Have you seen folks saying the market cap of xyz.com is greater than the entire airline industry. or today on mb thread, tommaso is pointing out that dell market cap exceeds gm and ford added together. help me...am i running afoul of thread rules?
