GROUP V SUBSIDIARY FULFILLS 1.1 MILLION DOLLAR PRE-PAID PHONE CARD ORDER
- Worldwide Prepaid, Inc. Begins Distribution of Two New Pre-Paid Phone Cards-

San Francisco, CA (April 9, 1999): Group V Corporation (GRPV) and its subsidiary Academy Network Services (ANS),
announced today that they have supplied Worldwide Prepaid, Inc. with a $1.1 Million pre-paid phone card order.

Worldwide Prepaid, an industry leader, has introduced the two new country specific cards to supplement its well-established
product line. Based in Florida, Worldwide Prepaid has commenced nationwide distribution of the cards, which feature
exceptionally low rates to Mexico, Europe and North America.

Group V Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Monterosso stated, "We fully expect these highly competitive cards to
be extremely successful in the marketplace and are pleased to supply Worldwide Prepaid with high quality
telecommunications products." Monterosso added, "Our recent sales to top pre-paid phone card distributors demonstrates
ANS's ability to provide competitively priced products to the phone card industry." The Company anticipates that future orders
from Worldwide Prepaid will generate $1 Million per month and expects this amount to increase in the third quarter.

Group V recently reported a strategic relocation for ANS, positioning the Company to take advantage of competitive rates for
both international and domestic telephone charges and anticipates this relocation will result in higher profit margins for ANS.

Academy Network Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Group V Corporation (GRPV) specializing in niche
telecommunication products and services. As a long distance carrier, Academy has the ability to support various
configurations of pre-paid phone card traffic on its debit platforms and maintains unlimited capacity to support one plus and
toll free long distance traffic for a variety of residential and business applications.
