Steve:

When is the next earnings due?

They put out preliminary numbers a while back....

biz.yahoo.com

As stated in the release they publish numbers and do a conference call on 4/15. Worth noting that their inventory turns have slowed quite a bit over the last few quarters:

1/98 3.82
4/98 2.70
7/98 1.31
10/98 1.25

Not sure that carrying bigger and bigger inventories in the fickle teen age market is such a bright idea. The possibility of an inventory writedown is becoming greater and greater with each passing quarter. The auditors need to bless the inventory accounting this time 'round since the upcoming report is for their fiscal year-end.

Shouldn't be too surprising that they have been operating cash flow negative in a big way the last three quarters (10/98 -$7.5 mil, 7/98 -$6.2 mil, 4/98 -$6.2 mil) as well.

It's no wonder why they ended up doing this backdoor secondary, highly unlikely they could have gotten a traditional secondary done.

PS: It'll also be worth watching the insider sale activity once the window opens up after earnings. On 9/15/98 DLIA repriced most of the outstanding stock options, they now have 2,618,445 out there with a weighted strike of $6.49. DBCC insiders showed up with their selling shoes on once the MKTW spin-off was completed, will probably see the same thing here.
