kaz, I looked around the PC here and found my SWAP file is DYNAMICALLY sized. So I moved it from the C: drive to the G: drive just now. I have lots of empty space on the G: drive. The C: drive was down to only <200Meg free space.

I also found that I have 8Meg RAM on the system board. Strange thing is dealer told me I had 2-12 Meg SIMMS. But it's really 2-8Meg + 8 on board. BUT the system MAX is 128K RAM overall - and with 8 on board there is no legal configuration that allows you to go higher than I am at now: 104K RAM. I wonder why is Compaq saying you can go to 128K RAM max when with 8 on board it is impossible to do so?

I'll see if performance improves next week with the Swap File on the empty G: Drive.
