Too timely to not post...

From an article about Amazon -

chicagotribune.com

On average, on-line retailers spent $26 on marketing and advertising per sale in 1998, while their physical counterparts spent only $2.50. Until Bezos and other Internet retailers can find a way to attract and keep customers without such an enormous outlay, they are all going to have a hard time making any money.

TSIG has figured out a way to attract and keep customers without that huge outlay.

You'd said: >> IF TSIG proves to be a success, it will take only a few weeks for Amazon to take over. CDnow, MusicBoulevard, Shopping.com and dozens of others will not be far behind. <<

They don't have the same business model that TSIG already has. It would take longer, IMHO, to establish one similar. If it is as successful as we think it will be, sure, there will eventually be others. But TSIG will have been first and already rolling along. Comments?
