I have been checking the news items of some of the second tier net companies. It's amazing how cmgi, sfe, ebay, etc. have shot up 20 - 50 points this week.
If bid.com had been on the naz this past week, we should be at at least $50 US today. Take it from me, it's a pain in the a_ _ for an American like me to buy bid.com as opposed to the companies that are on the naz. I cannot use touch tone or on-line trading for bid.com. Instead, I have to call Fidelity, speak with a Spartan rep, who then puts me through to the international rep to get a quote (there are no RTQ's for bid.com on fidelity), and then I get a chance to place my trade. This whole process takes 10 - 15 minutes, the time period when I can place at least 10 trades on line. When (not if) bids hits the naz next week, I will quarantee you that your American neighbors will come out in droves to buy BIDS.
Just look at the prices on the shop naked posters. You Canadians are bidding those babies up to 30 -40 dollars, while tonite in the US you can have one of those for a lousy$7. That just tells me that the BID.com shop naked fever has not hit the US yet. When it does, the price of the posters will increase also to $30 -40 each!!!!!!!!!!
