Howdy Pals, and just now I stood up and Applauded Us 909ers !!!!
As Blue says, the picks on this board are Tip-Top and we deserve 2B Applauding Ourselves All The Way To The Bank !!
ANNOUNCING TECHRIDERS MANDATORY REWARDS "TIME HAS COME TODAY":
AS NECESSARY FOR CONTINUED MOTIVATION:
(Joe is excused, assignment 909 taken early completed, HEY JOE WHERE ARE YOU???? HOW'S THE PUP???!!!! )
Today this weekend or BY April 15th (because a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down) You MUST blow some of that 909 money on Treating Yourself to EITHER AND (Choose At Least 2 of 3):
1) A Fancy Dinner Somewhere Expensive along with a Concert, Show, or At Least Maybe A Movie Too (suggesting "Analyze This" for the LOL)
2) New threads for warm weather, and a new "do" maybe at a Spa.
3) Something New Found While Browsing Shops, just CHARGE IT and know that DOTCOM is working on paying the bill. Or go ahead, shop on the Internet and buy it, if you don't feel like moving from your cozy puterside comfort. For this, I would suggest a fine Internet Shopping warm-up at cdnow.com for some box sets of yer faves which are so necessary for amusement while doing diligence with numbers on that dry ole stockstuff! I just bought me a nice one on sale at Tower Records, it's the double CD "Mob Hits" (music from and a tribute to the great Mob Movies - my faves are on it) because of seeing "Analyze This" and I Love That Music - first one is Dean Martin's "Volare" and "That's Amore" is on it, too - I Needed This One for fun and to give me a confident mood while doing DD on an Off Day With The Stocks...& cuz I'm from Joisey....
ANYWAY, TECHRIDERS GO TAKE YER 909 REWARDS, AS ASSIGNED....
((Jed and Joe, Hanging My Head In Shame Because Of NOT Manipulating My Stocks Here this time ... as yesterday I lifted xcdnwx out of the minus tide pool for a nice 25% loss harvest to meet More GNETS More More GNETS <-maybe manipulating 'em a bit there, though -> More GNETS On Margin and balance some 909 taxes a year early, because it looks like that xcdnwx green apple just got alot greener and in the shady spot of the tree now due to the Seagram Music Site Announcement, and if by chance it pops from any buy-out rumors before 31 trading days are up I'll just eat some crow, but I doubt any Cos in that cd online market including this one are mature because their market doesn't have the means to consume til they get that together - what with teenagers having no credit card and liking to go to the music store to flirt and see their friends - along with selling a few others I'll tell you about later)). But I kept the DNET, oh yeah, held onto the DNET, Many Buys At The Close. Big Ones Too. DNET. Rang the 909 Bell for xcnktx and watching it like a hawk at the open; but the day for that ended in sells so I was glad. Isn't it awful human nature to stare at it wanting it to go down after ya sold it? Maybe some of them nabobs of negatism on boards aren't all shorties....
Techride Equation Du Jour ;o)
Take The 909 Early + Take The 909 Again Later = The 909 Is Squared !!!

Howdy Blue, here's some more good news about CPQ's earnings shortfall..
Same quarter last year, when they were liquidating excess inventory (remember that one?) their earnings were .01 !
So now they're projecting for .15 and the CEO hung his head ashamed to admit they might not be hitting the WS target of .31 a share ! Newsblubbers are making their dollar a word while their pals are covering their shorts, and gotta see yet how Odd Og is getting the word out & wouldn't be surprised to see a cut-and-paste assistant helper disseminating it too !
Well I'm holding my CPQ happy in the minus tidepool because I do believe the CPQ Glass Is Half Full and about to sneak up from behind Because...
1)Adjusting expected earnings to .15 is "comfortable", putting it back to "only" an increase of 1500% from last year instead of the 3100% increase WS wanted from 'em. Betcha that whisper # will be nice!
2)Looking at those numbers diagonal, gives ya yer 101 and diagonalizing 'em back again gives the 909. Sorry but it's the only way I know how to explain it, but you'll see what I mean.
3)I can watch that loss for awhile, knowing what it'll likely give from the cheaper share price available when AltaVista bottlerocket time is bound to come.
A 909's way overdue on this one; and they increased their earnings from same slow quarter by 1500% instead of 3100% even with the acquisitions they've done.
see a whole string of trends by clicking at news then CPQ on....
reuters.com (choose all search engines for different views)
then CPQ search on news.com and of course then the PF News to give you what's chosen from these and it makes ya wonder why.
Walking In Tall Cotton, Jed. Just not yet.
(& BTW IMHO LOOKY @ The 909 Squared potential increasing on CMCSK)
Thanks for the good 909s, More 909s please,
Joan

Blue, looks like some posters on the GNET board want to load up on CPQ.

Also, check this out. Think it's for real?
