Mike, what does that mean? My suspicion is that the wave of Net IPOs will eventually put too much strain on the sector. But that is still
a ways from happening.

Michael,

Again, what has changed? What is the "trigger event?"

In my opinion nothing has changed. As long as we have this herd mentality, we can and will dump, regardless of what the Nets do. The investment community is becoming increasingly ignorant because there are more people (that think they know a lot but really know nothing) investing in stocks. All we need is for the DOW or the NASDAQ to start falling off the cliff and people will bail.
Furthermore, we all know it's just a matter of time before the FED changes it's bias and with huge companies like CPQ and KO coming up short, perfect situation for a tank.
Aside from all the above, which means nothing to me as far as timing, we are at a 9 month cycle top. That says more to me than any CPQ announcement.

Regards,
Chris

Michael Young: Again, what has changed? What is the "trigger event?"

It has been my experience, that there usually is no trigger event, just something to be used as the excuse/reason for the already pre-planned happening. The "talking heads" always find one, sometimes it is just the Market changing directions after "digesting" the same news that took it the other direction at first blush...<g>

Sorry, I can't hang around to argue my point. I just popped in this AM, to make a few edits to the Web Site and catch up on my reading of the MDA Thread. A lot of great post as usual...<g>
