Great find Ed! Regarding ICY'S mentioning(a few posts back) goodby to Ebay etc once ACTV rolls out. I was having this exact thought this afternoon(forgive this newbie if its obvious to all!), will people need Ebay ETC when they can use ACTV's technologies to auction right over the TV?
How about the vast TV audience that wouldn't have a clue how to log on and figure out how to auction at these online sites? Yet this same audience could sit there with thier remote, place a bid for something at auction etc..Isn't this partly what Barry Diller has planned with Lycos and family shopping network? Except we might be up and running while Mr. Diller is still waiting for Lycos shareholders to vote. Not to mention watching a horse race and placing a bet. My mind is going in so many directions, and I keep seeing more of what a huge thing we are a part of.
And then theres interactive sports, HYPERTV, etc.. Someone needs to write a book and explain the possibilities!
Have a great weekend!
T

<<AT & T Internet Services is also planning a major announcement at the show.>>

Hoo ha! ACTV should certainly benefit by association, even if the nature of the announcement doesn't directly impinge upon it, which isn't very likely.

Just when is Spring Internet World 99? Next week, perhaps?

Ed, could you please elaborate a little bit why you put this line in bold? How could this directly affect IATV?? Any guesses what the announcement would entail?
Thanks.
