>>>>Anyone look at fast foods lately? - YUM !!

remember I use to ... on and on and on .... PEP to 60, then split?

well ... major boo boo in the symbol .... exchange the PEP for YUM <ggg>

funny but ... I held PEP for a couple years, long term. Ended selling my long term shares at a buck above my buy price, low 30's. The irony ... got my YUM spinoff shares for free, and they are now worth 6 times the profits I made on selling the long PEP at the low.

Trading went a lot better this week than last. But NETA gap/dive is making my portfolio look like a pc. of crap. NETA is internet security in the net sector. It will rebound very quickly, as it is being viewed as "cheap" here. The volume is always high on it.

Mutual Funds. Have been buying latin and asian, monthly, for over a year now. The shares I bot were cheap cheap cheap, and I have many now. Mutuals are great for averaging, without the cost of commissions. Course this is a 10 to 20 yr investment, not quick returns. So most are not interested in them. Heck, I'm not even interested in watching them. LOL

Had DELL on my screen for re-entry, am counting my lucky stars that I did not enter.

Larry, you collect big/good company's, and hold them. That is very good.

BUT, honey, no stock is safe. again NONE ARE

once you get a good profit and you don't mind seeing the swings, you set a stop above your entry. Or one day, you will be watching YHOO or ATHM ... fall a hundred points in a day.
You think the "good fundamentals" could stop that from happening?
You are wrong.
NO STOCK is exempt from this occuring

luv ya, Sue

Out of favor sectors: oil, oil service, <<

However, if you are happy with making $2k a day, you watch HAL
or SLB, buy at a low and then sell the next day after 1/2 to 1
point increase and repeat :)
