For those interested, Level 3's analyst and investor conference is available free at webevents.broadcast.com You will need RealPlayer.

Titled "Silicon Economics: The New Math of Communications". Interesting discussions on bandwidth demand, price elasticity, financial models for next generation service providers, lots of other goodies with implications for many telecosm companies.

Promise me one thing though. Do not take time out from viewing the Master's Golf Tournament to watch this conference. Some things are sacred!!

The FCC allocating frequencies for private companies
to test impulse radio does not have anything to do with
the powers of the state. It is well within the long
tradition of American capitalism, and it should be applauded.
