Alan, If its scriptures you want then i will provide you with a few: Hear and understand; Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man Matt14 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Romans 3 There are none righteous, no not one. If you were to read the scriptures you would find that it was Jesus who spoke more on hell than everyone else put together. If God himself felt it was more important to warn his people about the consequences of sin moreso than anything else then I suspect it was a warning that shouldn't be taken lightly. As to my methods being my own that is your opinion but I have read God's word from cover to cover and I find a central theme that says all mankind has offended God and is being sent to an eternal place of punishment. However, For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not persih but have everlasting life John 3:16 those who do not believe in him will face eternal hellfire which was meant for lucifer and his angels. Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost and on its way to hell. Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:16 Jesus answered them, Verily verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. and the servant abideth not in the house forever... Let me help you out on what this means. There are many people in churches, synagogues or what have you that claim to be serving God, unfortunately they never truly repented of their sins and never found forgivenes. As a result they will be removed far from God's house...eternally separated, because they were not sons but servants of sin. SERVANTS OF SIN WILL NOT ENTER INTO HEAVEN. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. John 8. Free from what? Free from being the servant of sin and being eternally separated from God. Chris
