Julius, was your internut stock comment a typo, Freudian slip or your
take on that sector? :)

Julius, it certainly gives me some confidence knowing your
portfolio breakdown is reasonably similar to how my current IRA
portfolio looks now, after many, many mistakes over the past 2-3
years that have hurt my returns.

I have no historical TA to confirm my thoughts that that portion of our portfolio with sector funds should be treated more like
stocks rather than mutual funds - specifically giving yourself stop
losses of 10-15% on the downside at all times and letting the upside run its course.

Obviously, if we were good market timers, we could have avoided the massive downturns in the summer and fall of '98, both of which I missed. However, is it reasonable to let the sectors run strong in bulls and sell off on any given 10% downturn?
