I also heard the same comment last night. Was just wondering what the thread members think, or if it is better to wait awhile.

I remember quite a number of months ago how reports were saying that the DEC acquisition was going to pay for itself in a short time.

New investors should not view CPQ as a so called 'Walmart special' Walmart specials represent undamaged goods or services at discounted prices. CPQ represents damaged goods. The price paid for CPQ reflects future potential in management. Not a very good buy until some changes are made. New investors should look for quality issues that have potential for growth. Seasoned investors who own CPQ need to employ 'stock repair strategies' such as covered calls.
