Skipper; I'm not long but taht don't mean she wont go up, indeed
I have more buy signals than sell BUT THEY are not all buy signals
and some of the Bad signs are really bad.

So far the head/tail thing
has been right on but it's margin of accuracy seems to be falling,
Not long ago if it gave a signal it was good for several days up
to a week, but now it's one day maybe two, and is even looking
like it may breakdown.

If my head/tail system breaks down I will know it, but I will
also be left in total doubt about what to expect from the market.
I have some ideas of why it would break down before a real big move
but I'm not sure at these levels that a real big move could be
to the upside.
In short I'm slightly bullish on the BIG indexes but to cautious to buy, I'm bearish on the Mid Caps.
------------------------
Keep in mind your risk in that fund amounts to
2x the risk in qqq for each $1 invested. If you go 100% is
like being margined except you won't have margin calls
Roughly A drop of say 20% in the index , amounts to 40%
in the fund.

Hi Jim , Definitely good considerations on your part.

I guess underlying all this is my statement, "I'm looking for an ultimate High this summer, and maybe a near-term high in mid-May to
start thinking of taking profits - that's the best WAG, so far."
Who knows if this will pan out.

Amongst others, I've looked at these DP charts:
decisionpoint.com
decisionpoint.com
And, they look bullish to me.
This is why I want to continue to scale in - BWDIK!

I sure do agree with you on the leveraged aspect of UOPIX.

Thanks for your opinion...
Regards, Skipperr

Skipperr: Since you obviously have a buy and hold strategy, I am the last person you would like to consult. My trading system is designed to be 100% or 0% at any one time,( based on the signals from my system ). These signals are designed to get me in the market when they are buys, or out completely when they are sells. I do not believe in buy and hold, and cost averaging: buying at exorbitant P/E ratios to hold does not make sense to me, and the only reason that I switch in and out at the top is to reduce my cost basis in the dips. I know it sounds complicated but if you need further explanation I will try to do better next time.

Regards,

Jaime
