Ditto Jim K! It is a win, win, situation and I would not be surprised one bit to see TNRG open up above .60 on Monday morning after everyone has digested the entire story.

Even if one were to buy 8,000 shares of TNRG @ $1.00 = $8,000; one would receive 2,000 shares of TIPS.

Which equates to $11,000 dollars as of the closing bid on Friday.

One scenario: One buys 8,0000 shares of TNRG @ $1.00 =$8,000; one receives 2,000 shares of TIPS.

TNRG tanks back down to $.50 x 8,000 = $4,000

TIPS shares would have to close below $2.00 for someone to lose money.
Possible? Yes. Likely, I don't think so.

Worst case scenario: One buys 8,000 shares of TNRG @ $1.00 = $8,000;
one receives 2,000 shares of TIPS.

TNRG tanks to .25 X 8,000 shares = $2,000

TIPS tanks all the way down to .50 x 2,000 shares = $ 1,000

Total investments lost if one needs to sell: $1,000 dollars.

This, in my opinion is the worst case scenario.

Possible? Anything is possible in today's market. I am a betting man and if I could wager in Vegas on this happening; I would shoot the whole wad on it not happening.

I'm not sure if it's a mess, or just highly confusing. If TIPS hadn't already begun trading, We'd all probably feel alot better.
Anyway, this is what I came up with:
1. Seeing TIPS trading at $6 begs the question,"Why isn't TNRG over a buck? If most of the current price of TNRG is the internet "stuff", wouldn't it seem logical that AFTER the spin-off the combined price of one TIPS share plus four TNRG shares should equal the current price??
For example, four shares of TNRG are currently $2. After the spin-off those shares would probably be worth 40 cents, PLUS you'd have one share of TIPS at about $1.60 for a total of $2. I'm figuring TNRG will have less under its' umbrella (ekg, Nighthawk, basketball, etc),hence the lower valuation.
If this is,indeed, the case, we have a highly confusing situation.

ON THE OTHER HAND, is it possible we have just seen a tremendous price appreciation without realizing it?

2. If the "fair market value" of TIPS is $6 (and if that price is not just an artificial MM shuffle) and the "fair market value" of TNRG is 50 cents, the total package is worth $8. If you figure the "internet stuff" is worth about 75% of that, and the "other stuff"(ekg,Nighthawk, etc) is worth about 25%, you come up with $6 for TIPS and 50 cents for TNRG.

I'll be the first one to admit it seems too good to be true, but it's the only set of figures that make sense.

If this is true, then TNRG is really selling for $2 right now.

T A P, if you're out there, can you shed some light (or cold water) on this??

ATTENTION SHAREHOLDERS!!MUST READ!!
As I warned everyone before to put on your bashing armour and for good reason as witnessed from some of the RB posts last couple days! They are digging up old filings which they seem to try and discredit Mr Tilton with. All I can tell everyone is, T A P is not going to waste time with these out dated filings which are history and should have no real bearing on the future prospects of TNRG/TIPS but will focus on the future prospects of TNRG/TIPS. Before I move on to another topic, many companies have had a long list of past SEC filings the could be viewed as negative but have learned from mistakes and overcame obstacles that some investors considered "red flags" IOMG (now IOM)is one of those I always use as an example, as that company had years of shortcomings before dominating the market place with the Iomega Zip Drive and share price skyrocketing from 7/16 to approx $350(splits considered)in about a years time! The IOMG message boards had the same type of negative posts and Im sure some people sold because of them, where the contrarian investors made a fortune and the Motley Fool founders became heroes in the eyes of many investors having picked the stock in their Fool Portfolio and even found themselves interviewed on CNBC and wore Joker hats on national TV.I can still remember the look on Joe Kernan's and Neil Kavuto's faces :o)!
T A P would like to address the compensation issue and the opening price of TIPS. Mr Tilton did not have control over what the MM's opened the price at and compensated T A P based on the .01 x .03 old share price of BRIA. Appearantly some have been making all types of statements regarding this, so for the record, what happened with TIPS was MM's doings not Mr Titlon and T A P just happened to be the lucky recipient, on paper anyway! As you know the volume was not all that much as most people bought TNRG.T A P fully expects our gross value will bounce up and down a few buckaroos this next week, hopefully up :o),but its only $ as they say. The TIPS/AWEB/China Internet connection will make this not only very interesting but very volatile and T A P and many of you who will hold long will be in for the roller coaster ride that TNRG/TIPS investors have never seen before. So put on your bashing/shakeout armour, buckle up and enjoy the ride!
T A P has received 700K shares of TNRG and 1 mil shares of TIPS from the company for services provided for a period of 1 year. For a complete write-up on TNRG and other Turn Around Picks and free membership members.xoom.com
