Agreed about the ads and the split. Last time I checked, CSCO only had enough authorized but unissued shares for 3/2, it needs so much for acquisitions. It like to see it buy Nortel (planning to really reorganize that company for growth) instead of splitting, but, of course, we can always authorize more shares. No doubt this will be done at the next meeting.

In response to your split comment....If you look at the history we are coming up on "right on time" rather than overdue. My guess is that the interval is more important than stock price in the timing of splits.

My olfactory glands are being overwhelmed by the scent of SPLIT. It's long overdue, and the lack of same has held csco back since February. I'd love to see JC announce a 2:1; Cisco would soar.
