Mike: Isn't one of the ways emerging gorillas win is by plowing $$ into revenue generating activities at the early stages when they are moving toward establishing an enabling technology? At that stage isn't very rapid revenue growth the key indicator, not earnings growth yet? Therefore haven't the Q 's low margins up to now been a sign of excellent management with the focus on the right goal - establishing CDMA and the Q as the gorilla in it? Best. Chaz PS Another sign of how sharp the Q's management is seems to me to be clinching the deal with Ericsson by selling the infrastructure activity at a reasonable price to cement the deal and gain a few bucks to use in other areas. Also as any of you who listened to the conference call (the Q's latest) may remember, Dr J address the phone assembly arm directly saying that it is doing well now but down the road - a couple of years - its possible sale would be considered if that made sense at that time.
