A thought just occurred to me. What do you think the chances are that we could borrow Lou Gerstner for a few years? He brought IBM back from the dead. We'll need a CEO of that caliber to bring even the slightest bit of confidence back into this company. This Innovate conference is going to be a joke. Who is going to believe any of their plans? And who will they get to execute the strategy properly? I had sold all my CPQ during the downdraft at the end of February around $34. By mid March I'd bought it all back under $33 with the intent of holding for 2 years. I actually was starting to believe CPQ had nowhere to go but up. Now I find I'll be holding for a long time, but not for the reasons I originally thought. Anyway, I find this CPQ debacle easier to tolerate by reading all the posts on this thread except for the ones issued by Jim K. and Gene P. Try it. You'll like it.
