- Windows2000 and the other MS upgrades this year will be very late in the year and have little impact on sales since most companies will not change technology in the face of Y2K. There is mixed opinion about Y2K impact - some think that companies who have delayed remediation, especially small business, will simply upgrade hardware to solve the problem. Others say that the effects will at best cancel out. I tend to believe there will be a slight increase in 3Q and 4Q levels due to Y2K effects.

- Intel has trucked to Moore's law (double capability every 18 months) for many years now. Moore was after all one if Intel's founders. There has been no change in the rate of improvement in Intel performance and no reason to expect one.

- I guess I have to make up question 3...

- don't quite understand "resell markets"

- CPQ sales through direct internet were noise level - a fraction of a percent - so this was not a major effect.
