Oil drillers? Want to make some REAL money in oil? Buy a stake in a San Diego County gas station. It's a crime what they've been doing here. Prices are significantly higher than a year ago, with the price of oil LOWER than it was a year ago. Traditionally, San Diego gas prices are much higher than in the rest of California. This is known as the "gouge gap". Check out these prices for regular in San Diego: ucan.org Whoever thought you could get rich pumping gas? Invest in one of these babies, and they'll be saying "Fill er' up PT!" And you'll be smiling all the way to the bank! (Actually, you probably wouldn't make big money owning a stake in a gas station. The oil companies charge higher prices in San Diego than elsewhere. Speculation abounds that the recent price hikes are a retaliatory strike by the oils companies against local government which is again proposing a that oil companies be required to sell their stakes in local stations.)
