Re hyperlinking: All I did was type the Url with the "http" included. Does that automatically make for a hyperlink? If not, I haven't the slightest idea what I did otherwise.

Browser info: Denizens of one of the AOL trading boards I visit have been downloading Microsoft's Internet Explorer 5.0 from (here goes again) the microsoft.com site. I also did it and, holy mackerel, my connecting speeds to the Web are now three to four times faster than before. (The default AOL browser is an earlier version of Microsoft's IE.)The download time is an hour and a half to more than two hours, depending upon the features you want. (It's simple to choose.)Microsoft makes it very easy to download. One exception: after five minutes or so the download stops and you have to find "IEsetup" in your Windows download folder (file?) and double click it to continue with the download. When it's all done, shut down your computer then start up again. In my case a box appeared inquiring if I wanted IE5 to become my default browser, and I clicked that I did. However, I have one problem that apparently hasn't happened to others who've downloaded. I can't paste a copied portion from a message post on Yahoo! or SI, although there's no problem on AOL. I'm still trying to find out why. But the newly acquired speed is worth the inconvenience.
