Hmmm, I don't know about TW, but my SEOL fully clears the symbols upon exit. Next time I bring it up, only the new tickers I use go into the Data Manager.

Maybe if TW has some bug/pain-in-the-a$$ you could locate the file that maintains the symbols list and copy an empty one to a temporary file, then just replace the file each time. This is a lousy thing to have to do every time, but it might beat deleting symbols one by one.
