I've got smoked salmon in the fridge, even as we speak. No cream cheese, out of bagels. Last time I went to the Bagel Factory, or whatever it calls itself, it was late in the afternoon, and the cashier told me that if I bought one dozen, he'd throw in another dozen. I said I only wanted six, and he said the deal only came with a dozen. So I bought a dozen, and he threw in an extra two dozen, explaining that he hated to throw them away. I froze most of them, and a motley crew they were, spinach bagels, cinnamon-raisin bagels, sun-dried tomato bagels, not at all what I like (sesame or poppy seed or Everything [onion, garlic, sesame, poppy]). Finally got rid of them, the dog likes to play "fetch" with bagels. Scared to go back to the Bagel Factory.
