Scumbria - How do your AMD friends feel about the performance of their stock?

These comparisons are pretty unfair Scumbria. you take the intra-month high. I can whip up all sorts of spin if I pick my price points.

Are you graphically challenged? If not, here's a chart:

To speak fo the other side, I am an INTC employee that is relatively happy with a 42% gain in 20 months.

Gee, I joined up with Intel on June 30th, 1997, and I'm very impressed with the performance of INTC stock. Guess your "acquaintance" sees things a little differently from the rest of us, including this "rookie."

By the way, I've seen you mention that "20 month" time-span before. Hmmm.

If this acquaintance of yours is a decent performer, he probably received a fair amount of stock options in April 1998 priced in the mid $70s, excercisable in April 2003. I would suggest he be patient. The stock options I received when I joined Intel in March 1995 didn't have much value for well over a year, but have since become quite profitable.
