Dwayne,

I noticed that NYRR traded close to a million shares on Friday,
as I have previously posted I would like to see an average of at least 1.1 Million shares trade daily until June ----my feeling is that in conjunction with anything else that may or may not transpire within NYRR ----we will need to see a steady stream of trading volume if we are to start attracting some additional investor interest in NYRR!
JMO!

Although the news updates have been few and far between from NYRR ( in my view) I'm betting that sooner or later something will have to jell----if only some input from the company to comment on the various rumors floating around!

Over two months have passed since Mr. Crawford has announced his retirement----quite a long period of time has passed without an announcement of the new CEO and President of NYRR! One might speculate that maybe this is a very critical time to be running a company without someone in the top job?

Has anyone heard how the Conrail lawsuit is progressing?

I still find it strange that Conrail and NS would want this hanging over their heads come June of 1999 when the apparent games begin!
JMO!

Well to me it appears that there definitely has been some significant selling of NYRR Shares recently --but on the other hand someone is also doing some buying! I wonder who is going to come out ahead?

I wish we had more factual and specific information to discuss regarding NYRR--but for a non-reporting company with very few news releases as of late---there remains little to talk about of any substance!

Dwayne, we have had a few faithful long term shareholders of NYRR post from time to time---looks like some very patient shareholders, I hope their patience and persitence is rewarded at some point in the future!

Maybe NYRR might consider recruiting the services of an Investor Relations firm to help circulate some news about the company efforts?--maybe a weekly update on the NYRR Web Site-something that the shareholders could look forward to?

It will sure be intriguing to see what transpires once this silence of news releases is broken by NYRR! I imagine it's difficult for a company President and CEO to issue a news release if there is no President and CEO ? Very puzzling times----maybe not for the insiders but certainly for some of the shareholders! JMO!

Has anyone called the company lately? What have you heard or been told?

If there are any NS followers reading this thread --your input/opinions would be appreciated!

Nice to see that you continue to keep the faith Dwayne--I think we share the same opinions as to the future possibilites! JMO!

Best Regards,

Wayne J.

We will soon be approaching the time frame when a year ago from the period May 26 through June 15, 1998 NYRR traded in a price range from .17 to .49 cents ranging in daily shares traded from as low as 996,800 to a high of 4,562,800 in that time period!

Will history repeat itself? I have no idea--but daily share trading volume has been starting to pick up over the past week or so!

Maybe, if or when the Company Management decides to release a little news ( be it positive or otherwise?) it will assist the shareholders in bettor understanding what the future might hold in store for their speculative investment! JMO!

Has anyone heard whether NYRR Management is still considering taking steps to become a reporting company?

I am looking for NYRR to go beyond the .49 range as we approach June 1. Remember, last year we were a full year away from the June 1 timeframe - now we are right on top of it.
