Too sensitive. You need reprogramming. I suggest that someone tickle you all over with a feather duster, ignoring your shrieks for mercy. After reducing you to helplessness, oh, well, it depends on the person with the feather duster what to do to you next.

I can desensitize you a little, here goes: Chris has agreed not to venture an opinion on building a house until I present him with cold hard facts on the costs. How do I get the info? Without an actual plan, like do we want hardwood, heart pine or cork floors? Call a wholesale building supply company? Are there books? I have seen construction estimation books and programs at book stores and libraries, are they any good? I think you said Dash was building houses? Do you know how to do it?

My Sweet Gaugie,
You have to know how much I love my life and how much I know my boys love and respect me. Well, except for my cooking. Does that help? All these things that happen to me don't bother me at all on a deep level because they happen to us all. And while they do happen, I admit to SOME exaggeration. Maybe if who I was depended on a successful dinner, or a clean toilet, it would be different. I always hope that people can laugh and think- oh yeah, I know how that feels! ANd realize how unimportant it all is.

Now tomorrow (singing Mozart's Alleluia) is a far more serious event for me and I won't be able to laugh about it if it goes badly, because I do take my music seriously. And I am pretty nervous.

Now that I think about it--- my boys may not appreciate my culinary efforts but the number of other boys who show up at dinnertime says that either I'm better than CW and AMmo think or their mothers are REALLY bad cooks.
