from raging bull By: stockman3 Reply To: None Saturday, 10 Apr 1999 at 2:38 PM EDT Post # of 12352 THINK ABOUT IT PEOPLE, IMO tilton does not want tips to be valued based on tnrg stock price, because he feels this is an grossly undervalued stock right now...so why not put tips up for sale before the dividend is released, see where the market puts the value, and then when the dividend is announced, let tnrg appreciate to reflect this value. I think this is one of the smartest ways of increasing shareholder value for tnrg, that I hve seen in a long time...brilliant IMO, tilton knows te internet issues are hot right now, and it is likely that aweb/internet mall will fetch a nice price on the open market..so by doing so he assures that tnrg will also increase its value...remember scmi, this was done in a different way, the value of hits was based on the price of scmi on teh day it started trading...obviously this was undervalued, and quickly the price rose to $7, however scmi stayed the same...but the big difference here is that scmi does not own hits so it doesnt really matter...but in the case of tnrg, its different tnrg owns tips, and therefore should gain valuation if tips is a good company, in this way tilton is just making sure...DOES THIS MAKE SENSE TO ANYONE ELSE...I think i understand now...IMO once the dividend is announced the stock will rock...because I am betting tips will be valued like most interent companines, THROUGH THE ROOF, I think this is a wonderful opportunity for all
