I2, I'll tend to hold stocks until there's a fundamental reason to sell it though I did take some profits in the big semi capex stocks when it seemed like my four stock mutual fund was getting awfully large for comfort. I patiently held UTEK for a long time but after the last earnings report the company's visibility and Art Z's credibility were damaged enough for me to exit. I'm still holding STII since it hasn't given me a reason to sell and frankly following company developments other than the occasional news that comes up has become a priority somewhat below tracking Elvis sightings

Re: "I don't know, I try to forget unhappy old relationships that have been terminated. At least I got out of it with my house"

You terminated the relationship, eh? Did I ever tell you about the limit sell order I put in for UTEK at about $25 early last year? It was $24.875 at the time. It never made it back up to $25 .... I still own the stock.

SAY NO TO BOTTOM-FISHING ... SAY NO TO LIMIT SELL ORDERS ... SAY YES TO STOP LOSS ORDERS --- SAY NO TO BOTTOM-FISHING ... SAY NO TO LIMIT SELL ORDERS ... SAY YES TO STOP LOSS ORDERS --- SAY NO TO BOTTOM-FISHING ... SAY NO TO LIMIT SELL ORDERS ... SAY YES TO STOP LOSS ORDERS ---

This is a classic post. I learned a great deal about analyst predictions based on this one.

Didn't Merrill have this as their top EPS growth pick in 96?

I believed for a long time that mgmt. would pull through and this would be a $120+ stock in the next upturn. I am waiting for a sign at this point. It could still happen but I am not as confident.
