I'm sure I'm not the first, and certainly not the last. However, in the past, due to bloated and demanding software, the bottleneck use to be memory and CPU power. Which meant you needed to upgrade to high end machines every two years. I don't see any mass market killer apps that require high end machines any more. Since the mass acceptance of Internet, the bottle neck is no longer high end machines with fast CPUs, but the network bandwidth. I certainly don't need to remind you of that, but that is my argument at this point.
