Dipy, No need to justify or defend your decision to sell LSI. You have a strategy that works for you for many years & meets your goals. So there really is no point for others to pick it apart & throw it back into your face. Everybody is different. Some will be happy only if they beat the index year after year; others will never be happy unless no one else is doing better. If you are happy, that's what really counts. If $1M is good enough, what's the point of going after $1B? My only comment re your strategy is that since you have a conservative & diversified portfolio, 1 or 2 aggressive moves won't keep you from sleeping like a baby at night. But that's JMHO.
