The URL for the whole letter is: loral.com Research and our service providers continue to indicate that the addressable market for LEO-based telephony services exceeds 40 million potential subscribers - a strong market for a supplier base whose total capacity will be about a third of that. The Globalstar network will remove the barriers to communication posed by geography, the imbalance of population distribution, and the time and expense of installing a contiguous terrestrial system. Our principal target market continues to be the in-region user - not the international business traveler. In countries where there are gaps in cellular or wireline coverage, we'll fill in the gaps; where there is no infrastructure, Globalstar will provide the connection via satellite.
