I really hadn't known that you were involved with Bob Bemer to that degree. Actually, I don't know why I even asked the question except that it popped up in my mind and I thought I might bring it up.

Quick question: From what B. Bemer told you, did you sense that his solution would have worked cross-platform? As I remember it, he was trying to tackle the date field problem at the machine language level where code was translated into hardware commands. (I'm not a techie programmer, thus I lack the verbage to explain it..:0).

It really seemed to make sense to me since he seemed to imply that there would be no actual source code rewriting necessary since all dates would be identified and properly altered at the machine language level.
