Emile answered because he saw you on the thread and because he found a new book. His logic, to use the term very loosely, runs like this:

My book is correct because it supports my prejudice.
My prejudice is correct because it is supported by my book.

I have written this about Emile before; the book in question was different, but it seems to be a bit of a pattern.
