CJ: This was one of my complaints when we spent some time discussing the annual report. Ownership of CPQ stock is not a prerequisite for either consideration of assignment. One of the board members listed in the back, one of the women, has a big egg after her name for the number of shares held. No problem: she will show 10,000 shares after her name in the next annual report (thanks to stock options).

I would like to see a break-down in future annual reports for shares board members hold due to stock options and shares held from their own funds. No matter where they got their shares, though, I should still think they would be less than pleased right now.
