Did you see the recent biography of Wright on PBS? I did not realize that Taliesien (Sp?) had to be rebuilt because a servant massacred Wright's mistress, her children, and some house guests and set the place on fire. I love his buildings, although I would not want a genuine Wright house. There are a lot of them near Chicago, and you can really tell that Wright was a short man. His own house is very revealing, his bedroom has two beds, narrow, single beds, built into the wall, on opposite sides of the room. A clearer renunciation of hanky-panky with the spouse I can't imagine. Also, I have read that every house he ever built had a leaky roof. Yet, FallingWater is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.
