Stephen,Thanks, and a tip of the Hatlo Hat for the advice. Lime bleed? Would that account for the greenish color of the cement now, as well as whatÕs on the back of the big white patch of paint that fell off? Come to think of it, instead of white paint for the entire job, I used some white KILS up there too. ( I had three buckets of various paints I tossed up there.) HereÕs hoping the rest doesnÕt come off in the next few years or so. We did it for 500 bucks, my handy man and I. The professional that gave me the first estimate wanted 4000 to do the job, which would have involved scaffolding..... al
