Yes, my wifeÕs been telling me that for years. In this case however, I brace the ladder against the overhanging metal awning, so I have a pretty good base of support, and I can lean against the awning too, while I brace my right leg in the crevice of the chimney. I'm actually only about 20 feet off the ground, not the full 40.
