Just perusing the April 9th Valueline as part of my regular dd regarding my investments. Must admit I never make a decision on VL
alone but they are often a very good jumping-off place and have led me into MFST (not MSFT!!), WCOM, ATI, QCOM and first glimmering my interest in new LOR. This quarter's report is quite interesting, saying that though basically in a risky business(duh!), their prospects by 2002-2004 are now up to as high as 500%+ return on investment and with a company of average risk. Just another opinion for all of us to mull, but it's strange and probably inauspicious to admit it so, but so far if I'd paid attention to VL alone these last five years, I'd be better off. I'm sure others have worse memories.
BTW, re: QCOM, ATI, MFST(aka MCI-WCOM now) I have on average doubled to tripled my Keogh retirement money. VL is published weekly for those who don't know and is to be found at your local library. You'll want to look at it there as it is freely copiable for private use and you won't be stuck with a $655/ year subscription rate. The Force be with us all, and particularly with Bernie. Jim Black
