Review of Requiem:
firingsquad.com

Below I have posted the paragraph concerning multiplayer from the review. I find this interesting since I posted over a month or so ago a rumor that the multiplayer support was very poor and at the time I suggested that the rumor was probably very true (except the rumor also said Requiem was to be cancelled, which I said was probably very unlikely).

"Multiplayer: If you're looking for a lot of added play value via deathmatch, look elsewhere. Requiem has lackluster multiplayer code that left me scratching my head and wondering why they bothered. There was noticeable lag when playing on my fast home LAN, and I frequently got stuck on walls and edges in the deathmatch
levels. As for playing on the internet via Heat or MPlayer, it's
painful even over a fast DSL connection. I do give the developers
some credit for a relatively full-featured implementation of deathmatch, with all of the expected options and rebalanced angelic powers. However, I would consider Requiem a single player game and leave it at that."
