That is very possible. I hypothesize that the 'updated' Domain name list is being sent out to the ISP's, backbones and routers and being 'installed' when there is time available or on some routine maintenance schedule. When you were logged on, you were linked to a system and 'held' it because you were using it eg like tying up a phone line for hours. Then when you logged off, you freed that system resource to get updated... BANG! DNS'ed when you logged on again, because you associated with a different, 'updated' server. Access may 'wink' out like the stars at dawn as the new list slowly propagates throughout the internet. Jan was on a different ISP that may have updated their system Friday afternoon or whenever.
