IE5 bug a boo....before with 4.01 I could leave several IE windows open and shut down. Then, when I rebooted I would just have to connect or surf offline to get these windows back up. Now with IE5, (win95 system) it won't remember who or what I had open and just opens with my normal desktop?

There has to be a setting somewhere....any ideas?

...oh sorry I forgot this is a HW thread <ggg>

It's not supported in the IEEE standard (I read) except for
"testing" purposes, but it should work according to my NIC
documentation. I have no personel experience with it
except one failure trying to connect a 100 base T NIC with
a 100 base TX NIC. I didn't have any right to expect that
to work, and sure enough <gg>. It was also a home made
crossover cable.

At worst (with 100 base TX NICs and a good cable) I would
expect a lower distance limitation. That is, one would
be unlikely to damage the
NICs. It should also work full duplex, provided the NICs
were configured for it.

Anyhow that's speculation. The fact that 100 TX Nic documentation
claims to support it, albeit for testing, indicates to me it
should work ok.
