Reuters and Kasten Chase intend to distribute PC Cats client on Reuters Canpros. The Reuters Canpros product integrates diverse sources of information to provide the financial services industry with a cohesive picture of the market, including access to real-time quotes, analytics and graphics. It integrates Reuters extensive information databases with a state-of-the-art user interface. With optional Versapath PC Cats integration available, the user has access to superb trading power and control. Reuters Canpros will allow users to create their own screens or use predesigned layouts employing object-oriented technology. This feature-rich application provides users with access to information such as Net House Summaries, dynamic Nasdaq Level 2, previous trades, and quarterly earnings through the Reuters Web, along with real-time and historical quotes and news through Reuters databases. Kasten Chase's Versapath PC Cats for Active-X employed in Reuters Canpros Trader is an emulation of the Toronto Stock Exchange's Cats trading terminal and is based on the existing certified PC Cats desktop version.
