Kevin, I go long stocks as well as shorting them. I've recently made nice gains in BCST, CSCO, and several little momentum plays such as EFAX and MMAC/VCST. Money is worth the same amount from either side of the table. You do recall that I passed on shorting it when that thread was interested in that particular daytrade, don't you? As far as missing out, thousands of stocks make daily fluctuations in which I have no position, so I'm not worried about the ones that get away. I hope you get your 1300 or so per share. But there are only so many eyes to be fixed though, and I'm sure a lot of the growth has been discounted. So I'm a little skeptical that it can $40 billion is realistic.
