Hey CarolynF, thanks for the welcome.

Well, i think Intel is going to feel it big time in the coming year. The $1,000 p.c. is going to be the $300 p.c. pretty soon. They just want people to get on the internet now. That is where all the enormous growth is, any where evryone is spending more and more time and money every day. The p.c. is now just a vehicle for the next step into the future of technology. Intel will have to make serious $ on the high end Business line c.p.u.'s.

Does anyone know what kind of Proccesors if any are used in set top boxes which P.A. is presently integrating ? Any other technology that goes inside ?

I missed the Biography on Gates the other night. Do he and PA get along?

Yes. They are, apparently, still good friends. It seems that Allen is clearly the more playful of the two. When one hears about a Gates vacation, it is often on one of Allen's yachts, planes, or other playthings (as far as I know, he doesn't own a train, but give him time).
