Have you ever considered taking up a career as a crafter of aphorisms? As a 20th (excuse me, 21st) century La Rochefoucauld? An appealing career, particularly if I could compose them from the deck of a yacht (conducive surroundings would, of course, be essential) and distribute on the Internet via a satellite uplink. A patron would be required, of course, preferably a well-heeled one. To be in step with the times, though, I suppose I should establish a company - aphorisms.com comes to mind - and hold an IPO. I would prefer a patron. Less complicated.
