Did Anyone Catch the 3DFX Commercial During SNL? Saturday Night Live (NBC) with John Goodman as host, had a very good 30 second 3DFX commercial spot. Unfortunautly, the 3DFX name/logo was only shown at the last second of the spot, and may have gone unnoticed by viewers! It was so funny, people may have thought it was a spoof commercial from SNL, not a real commercial from our distressed company. I thought the story line of the commercial was very good, but it's implimentation could have been better. Looks like they paid a lot of money for the concept, but did a rush job on the commercial production. Bottom line; if they run it enough, they will come...
