True that it does not add to the float, but it will also not decrease it either. But the shares will still exist when the money is spent, so if DLIA's ever makes a profit it will be divided up by that many more shares. Of course it will also make their losses look smaller until that occurs. I closed my position in DLIA's yesterday, but may reestablish if the price were high enough.
