Nihil, I get the impression that Cobalt Blue is still quite young -- at least, by comparison with me (and with you, too, evidently). Hence she and her brother would not have known any Communists from the era you are talking about...Since the '50's, old-fashioned Communists constitute a rare species, and from what I have seen, a rather dull one. As for the "frenziacs" --now also rare -- they were more of a youth fad than anything else.
